POLYACRYLAMIDES
A new generation of semi-permanent (permanent but removable) soft tissue augmentation injectables is available. These include Bio-Alcamid. These are 97% water and composed of a highly polymerised polyacrylamide gel - the same sort of material used in soft contact lenses. These implants may represent a new generation of long-lasting, safe injectable implants for soft tissue augmentation and correction.
