PermaLip implants

The Safe*, Definitive Solution to Permanent Lip Enhancement

As a result of the numerous pitfalls associated with existing lip enhancement techniques, extensive research has led to the creation and development of PermaLipTM. The revolutionary, patented PermaLipTM implant was invented in 2002, and is the only CE Marked medical device designed exclusively for lip enhancement. PermaLipTM is made of soft, solid silicone that cannot leak or rupture.  The implant is contoured to the shape of the lip for a more natural appearance.  The implant is available in a variety of sizes for results that range from mild enhancement, to restore minor losses of lip volume, to full enhancement for a voluptuous, “sexy” look.  The PermaLipTM implant has undergone extensive clinical testing, has CE Marking in Europe, and is in a multicenter clinical trial for FDA clearance in the United States.  Unlike temporary fillers, PermaLipTM is permanent and does not require repetitive treatments.

PROCEDURE

PermaLipPermaLipTM Lip Enhancement is relatively simple to perform. The mouth and lips are locally anesthetized; then, two small incisions are made in the corners of the mouth. The PermaLipTM implant is then passed through a tunnel in the lip and centered. The process is repeated for the other lip and the incisions are closed using absorbable suture. The entire process is designed to take less than fifteen minutes and normal activity may be.

Although PermaLipTM is permanent, it is also designed to be easily reversible should a person wish to return to their original lip appearance. Removal of implants typically takes less than ten minutes.

RIGHT FOR YOU

As with any procedure, a consultation is crucial for a successful outcome.  Optimal patients for lip enhancement are those that present with normal lip appearance and simply wish to enhance their existing lip, or patients who have a natural loss of lip volume as a result of aging.  The latter group is typically composed of patients past the age of thirty who are starting to develop wrinkles in and around their lips along with a loss of fullness.   Once the procedure is performed, a person can enjoy full, youthful lips for many years to come
