Nose Surgery: any surgery involving the nose is referred to as nose surgery
Rhinoplasty: is the name given to the surgical procedure used to improve either the function or appearance of the nose.
Nose Reshaping: rhinoplasty is often also referred to as nose reshaping. It is often performed by Maxillofacial Surgeons, ENT surgeons and plastic surgeons (cosmetic surgeons).
Cosmetic Nose Surgery: surgical procedures performed to improve the appearance of the nose are often referred to as cosmetic nose surgery procedures.
Non Surgical Rhinoplasty: when fillers are used to improve the appearance of the nose as opposed to invasive surgery the procedure is often described as non surgical rhinoplasty.
Revision Rhinoplasty: is the term used to describe a rhinoplasty procedure performed to correct a previous unsatisfactory rhinoplasty.
Secondary Rhinoplasty: is a term often used interchangeably with the term revision rhinoplasty.
Rhinology: is the term used to describe the study of the nose.
ENT Surgeon: a surgeon specialising in disorders of the ear, nose and throat is referred to as an ENT surgeon.
